*On the island, or in Domino, pretty much at about right after sunset, you'll find this kid wandering about.

He looks like he's trying to take in the scenery of each of the respective places, but he's still wearing that too-warm outfit for this weather. You'd probably almost miss him if he wasn't so pale, it's almost luminescent.

Obviously you should be bugging him.*

*Yuya is indeed in the room and is actually sat up on the top bunk bed reading a dueling magazine. He looks over the top of the magazine when he hears Yuma enter.*

A new friend...?

*Then he sees Hitoshi and smiles. He recognizes him from the conversation he had with him on the journals the other day.*

Oh hey! Hitoshi!

*it helps that he's so distinctive. He waves a little bit*

H-hey. I guess this is where you're staying, huh?

Yeah, it is!

*He puts the magazine down on the bed and rather than climbing down the ladder, he more slides down it and jumps off the big treasure chest at the bottom.
Why is that even there anyway? In fact, the room is full of old junk.*

*Meanwhile Yuma sits down in a chair at the desk.*

Oh? I didn't know you two already knew each other!!

Um... Sure, I don't mind something to drink. And yeah, we met over the journals, when I first introduced myself.

*Yuya walks over to the sink by the door.*

Let's see... we have tea, hot chocolate and... water.

Not a huge choice really.

*he's looking at the treasure chest you jumped off of*

There are sure a lot of things in here...

OH! OH! I'll have a hot chocolate, Yuya!!

*Yuma then turns to Hitoshi.*

Yeah! This is some of my parents stuff!! They're adventurers!!

Adventurers? So this is stuff they've found on their job, then?

Yup! They always bring exciting stuff home from their travels!

*Sure is a lot of stuff! There are tribal masks, a small totem pole, what looks to be some kind of skull, various old carvings and figures... the room doesn't look a mess though, it looks more like organized clutter. Most of the items are at the back of the room, and also spans onto the first two beds.
You also notice there is a hammock strung across the back of the room.

On the desk behind where Yuma is sat, is a framed picture of a couple holding the pendant Yuma is now wearing around his neck.*

*he looks over at the picture, recognizing that the pendant is the same between Yuma and the couple*

*Yuma grins as he looks back at the picture.*

Yep! That's them!

*As they look at the picture, Yuya walks over to them with three mugs on a tray and holds it out so they can take their drinks.*

Oh, uh, thank you. *takes his cup, sipping it carefully. he doesn't really open his mouth too much.*

They look really happy. They must love their work, right?

*Yuya takes the third mug off the tray and sits down opposite them on top of Yuma's treasure chest, placing the tray on the floor as Yuma responds.*

Oh yeah! They definitely do! They've been to so many places! And when I was a kid, I got to do things like go rock climbing with my dad!

That sounds exciting. *A little dangerous sounding, too. Yuma's... energetic looking, but really clumsy. He feels like Yuma probably fell a lot in that...*

It must be kinda boring being in a school instead, now, compared to that.

*He did fall a lot indeed!*

Ah, well, here I get to duel loads and I get to meet awesome people like you and Yuya! So it's still exciting!

But the studying? Yeaaaah, that's kinda boring.

*somehow, he's not very surprised by that-- wait, you think I'm awesome? He seems a little embarrassed by the point.*

I... Don't know exactly about me being "awesome". But you do get to meet a lot of people, I guess.

Ah, c'mon! You're a duelist right? All duelists are awesome!

*... covering the lower half of his face with his scarf, definitely embarrassed*

*Yuya laughed a little from where he was sat.*

It's okay, Yuma thinks that of everybody!

So, hey, how have you been with the island so far? I know you mentioned you were a little worried about the temperature here.

*Yuma looks up, curiously.*

Temperature...?

*He had to admit, Hitoshi wasn't exactly dressed for the island weather with his dark clothes and scarf.*

... It is warmer than I'd like it here, but I don't really feel comfortable without some of the things I usually wear. I'll have to stop eventually though, the scarf at least is probably against uniform regulations. *lowering the scarf now, and then realizes that Yuma might be out of the loop.*

Ah, uh. I'm from up north, in the Hokkaido region. I'm not used to "warm" weather, really.

*Pffft, uniform regulations? What uniform regulations? You may note that both Yuma and Yuya look like they're wearing what would be regular clothes under their jackets... and Yuya is barely wearing his jacket at all, it's simply on his shoulders.
Though interesting enough, you may note that Yuma and Yuya's Osiris Red jackets are different. Yuma's is white on red, while Yuya's is red on white.*

Oh!! You're from Hokkaido? I guess I see why the temperature would be an issue!

*I am... probably a little more aware of school rules than you two would be, let's be fair.*

Yeah, I wish I had kinda known before we got all registered. I think there was a different school I could've gone to, but... I guess things will work out.

... By the way, you two have different designs for your uniforms, I notice. Are you different ranks or something? I thought pretty much all of the uniforms would be the same color set-up.

Oh, we're not different ranks. The one I'm wearing is technically for senior students, like people in their second and third years. I'm only wearing this design because I came here earlier than most other new students and they didn't have any of the regular jackets at that time for me, so they gave me this one.

They had plenty of the senior jackets because not many people stay in Osiris Red for their second and third years.
