He looks like he's trying to take in the scenery of each of the respective places, but he's still wearing that too-warm outfit for this weather. You'd probably almost miss him if he wasn't so pale, it's almost luminescent.

Obviously you should be bugging him.*

... What about your parents, Yuya? What're they like? You had mentioned your dad briefly, but what about your mom?

*turns to look at him, now curious about it. ... he sure hopes you have a mom.*

Oh! My mom is great! Though being here does make me miss her cooking a lot. She also likes taking in stray animals for some reason. At the last count, before I left, I believe we had six. Three cats and three dogs, though two of the cats I don't even know the names of. I got up the day I was due to travel here and there they were.

And my dad is the guy on the poster.

*He points upwards. If you look up, you will see a poster on the wall above the top bunk of a man, dressed in what looks like to be a ringmasters outfit, holding a trophy in his hand.
The man has rather dark hair, definitely not anywhere near to Yuya's crazy bright tomato hair*

*that sure is a lot of animals. He looks up at the poster. ... huh, he wouldn't have guessed them to be related. Yuya must get his looks from his mom, then. that's what he'd guess.*

You really look up to him, huh? Though... That's definitely an interesting outfit he has on. I guess that's his look for dueling?

Yeah, it is! As well as being the pioneer of action duels, he was also an entertainment duelist, which is a style of action duel in order to try and entertain the audience as much as possible! That's why I want to be able to show his style of entertainment dueling to everyone outside of Miami City!

He even created a school back where I'm from, called the You Show Duel School, which focuses on teaching about entertainment duels! It's not really like Duel Academy, as it's more of a thing you do in your spare time outside of regular school, but, ah... it wasn't doing so well, so I'm trying to get the word out about action duels and the entertainment style of dueling in the hopes it'll make people go to You Show to find out more!

It sounds exciting, that your dad's like that. At least spreading the word about it here might help some interest... people come from far away just to attend Duel Academy, so why not your school?

It's nice to have interesting parents. Mine are kinda normal in comparison.

My mom's a photographer. My dad's a freelance artist.

My dad sorta has the same problem as me, so he doesn't really go outside much. Makes it hard to find more... Solid work.

Hey, a photographer and an artist sound like interesting jobs to me!! I don't really know much about either but I know you have to be really super talented to make a job out of it!

Yeah... Though they're more kinda lucky to be able to do stuff like that, mostly cause my family's pretty well-off, money-wise, cause of my grandmother.

What did your grandmother do?

Not too sure. She doesn't really talk much about her own past. She's just sorta... independently wealthy, far as I know.

Huh. Well, at least it allows your parents to do what they want!!

My grandmother makes the best duel lunches ever!

Yeah! A meal she makes for me before a duel!! Usually it's a huuuuge rice ball!!

... well, I guess the best-tasting cooking is from someone in your family, right?

I'm really kinda missing them after three weeks of nothing but fish and rice being served here...!

Fish and rice? I guess Osiris Red doesn't really get many choices for food, huh?

... Would you wanna stop by Ra Yellow sometimes to get something else to eat? If I'm with you, I think they'll be fine with it, long as it's not too often.

Whoa! Really? That's be so great to actually get some real food! What kind of stuff do you get there?

A lot of things. Definitely a lot more than fish and rice. I don't think I'd be able to live in Osiris Red if that's all they served.

It sounds like the male dorm head likes making curry for the students rarely, too, according to what I've heard.
